Sykunno is an online streamer which have said to became popular in the pandemic because of Among Us stream. He is labeled as a pretty cute guy whose main audience is girls. He gives an anime vibes and seems to be a soft guy who would not hurt a fly. He also said that he has some rough experiences with past female relationships.
Recently, he got exposed.
Turn out, this sweet guy who seems innocent, and shy was reported as a cheating, liar and a playboy that has slept and flirts with multiple women.
I used to watch this guy, thinking that he seems innocent. This was good at playing among us, seems like he has training before.
Kidding aside, I want to give my opinion about this situtation, just to make conect on my website heheh and also practice using all of my fingers when typing because I want to practice it even though I would not use it in my daily basis.
I want to give my opinion about power, and a bit of Sykunno’s situation. From what I have gathered from all of the videos that I have watched about this. Here is a bit of a summary:

- * Sykunno was Lilypichus friend (another streamer). From the start, he seems like a shy anime boy.
- * His personality was the same while streaming.
- * He became well known in the pandemic times due to stresaming among-us with Offline TV(online group where lilypichu is a member of).
- * After a few years, he have communicated with smaller content creators and tried to meet up and possibly sleep with them.
- * Some he had slept with, some just went to flirting, some rejected this idea and he seem friendly or just flirty.
- * A Vtuber(animated sonline streamer, so instead of their real face, they live stream using a drawing or other stuff that moves and imitates as a person’s camera.) named HemomalVT (streamer) created a google document about Sykkuno’s wrongdoings and posted it on X/Twitter, and Mujin(Youtuber) created a video about the document.
- * This becamae viral and a huge argument was set.
- * While the video labeled Sykunno as predetor, which would mean that preys on little kid, which did not seem to be true, and the people of the internet corrected them about this.
- * The document showed how much of a cheater Sykkuno is, a gave evidence that he has a girlfriend whilst cheating with these small time content creator, which I think are Vtubers as well.
- * After learning this information, most of Sykunno’s long time online friends are a bit distant and disappointed about this. Most do not even know that he in a relationship.
- * Sykkuno and his girlfriend of four years posted an apology letter on their X/Twitter. Sykkuno was apologizing about his actions, and corrected the wrong allegations about being a predator. Her girlfriend was out of the loop that they have made a public document and video about their relationship that Mujin and Hemomal, and even Bao(another vtuber) has created.
- * Bao, Hemomal, Mujin apologized about the part they were wrong. Not pretty sure all the details in this part.
- * In the letter, Sykkuno’s girlfriend decided to stay and process this in private.
This was the summary of what I have gathered from watching slop contents.
Now that the context is out of the way. I want to talk about having power, using Sykkuno as the example.
I do not know if Sykkuno was a player before his fame, or just after discovering this power, he slowly embraced his advantage. There is a reason as to why he cheated, his reason was the relationship was kind of falling out and that they were not doing the deed anymore. Maybe those were the signs that the relationship is not working, or the girl is not that into the sexual stuff before marriage. Who knows. But Sykkuno wants it, that is what matters.
With his power, the advantage to talk to another person and flirt with them is easier compared to a person without social proofs posted for anyone to see. People are more inclined to trust you if other people already trusts you, and his first proof of being trustworthy is LilyPichu, great person, by the looks of it! Since he also has as large amount of female followers, it is kind of easier to trust him due to this as well. Its seems also that his viewers flirts with him and he respppond by being smooth with it or shy, this could also add another reason to trust him, he seems that he would not harm them, even looks like a safe person, so they are more open to him.
Why did no one wanted to expose Sykkuno’s flirty side before? Maybe someone already did but it did not became as popular as the current one, another reason I have seen as well is because that the ladies that Sykkuno was flirting with has smaller number of followers comapred to him, they are scared that his followers would mob them by numbers advantage and also he has a safety net with his female friends that would defend him against the little content creators. Another aspect would be that the ladies does not care about it or was just not really interested in pursuing to expose him. Maybe they enjoyed Sykkuno’s company and that they were satisfied of the time they have had with him, and moved on. Also from what I have gathered, Sykkuno lovebombs his target(lack of a better word), and give them money. This might be a factor.
The ladies want him for true love or his power. Sykkuno got game. His experience is very high, and probably, the ladies subconciously know this. Who would not give chance to have someone as famous and the person who you have a high trust for, give a chance of being a partner? Think of the amount of video games you can get, debts that can be paid, and luxuries that you can purchase with him by your side? You would also get a very active sex life.
So... what do I do with this information? I want to express my thoughts in this situation because it seems that I will be on the same road as him. I would also like to make a living using the internet, being an entertainer. I want to learn on other’s mistakes and hopefully not make mistakes that would affect me as a person. I do sympathize and hoping for the best for him, and especially the true victim here, which is his girlfriend. I would want to know if there is another meaning as to why he needs to cheat, surely that it was not only about making love, maybe he is dead inside? That’s a pretty wild reach I am taking here.
People said that power corrupts, but some said it only highlights who you truly are. With the power to do what you want and get away with it, the chances of doing dumb stuff seems a bit interesting to take.
