I resigned again...
I am now unemployed again! Hooray! But this time, I want to prolong it.
I am officially unemployed this August. I was not fired. I don’t think they have any reason to fire me. I resigned as I am needed to go back to our home. Also, I think I need to take a rest as well. It was a good run being in that BPO company. I have to focus again.
My BPO Work
It was a fun and pretty challenging work while it lasted. I had taken some lesson there that might be useful in the future. I thought I can thug it out being a chill guy without any close friends, but the stars aligned and i found a few interesting people that I can call as a pretty good friend. While there are changes in the flow of the workflow, I am on top of my chats no cap, most of the time. As the time progresses, I rely less on my Floor Support, and since I handle multiple chats and most of the time, it is the same thing over and over, I kinda understand the key points on what to ask, how to ask, and asking less that might prolong the chats. I even made a short list that would make a shortcut on what to click, you know, I pasted the steps in my drafts so that I can just look up the canned response that I need so that I would not need to type a lot anymore as it would take time away from me replying to another customer. I would never forget most of the good memories and good laughs I had with the people at the production floor. While I know that this is just the first BPO I have worked with, They are a good introduction as to what people I will be mingling if I were to proceed with this work. There are some people who stayed with the company for a long time, people who stopped studying to work, people that are even younger than me that hold a higher position, and people who just work for the experience. The peopel who I felt close with, I will remember them as a part of my journey to be the most wealthiest man alive. I’m gonna miss them a little bit.
Going Back Home
I miss home. In some ways, I have felt and not felt the time that went by. I think it has been three years since I left my family’s house. It’s kinda like that saying that goes “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man” (Heraclitus), except its my home, and me. I mean, the home is still the same, but not gonna lie, the home needs me, and I need it as well. A lot has change in the neighborhood, but us, kinda the same. I love the country side -ish. I don’t think I am built for the city, but I think I can manage if I really give in to it, like facing them eyes wide open, not controlling to pupils, but being focus on a single point, and letting the sides be, and having the body react to what it feels. I miss this. I miss unemployment. I miss being a kid.
My Low Points
In these past few years. I felt unwell most of the time. I felt beaten up everyday, even at my rest days. I think I made no money even. I could have saved more, and I know I am currently in relationship, and it costs some money as well, but I have spent some money that were a bit useless. I also think that I have not progress on the things that I have promised to myself that I should focus on. It seems that having me as a leader to lead myself is a bad mix. Also working for someone else really ingrained to me that I would not like to be an employee forever. I want to escape. I want to be my own boss, but based on the people I have worked with, it is kinda hard. People that are much older than me seems happy even that they have work, and that is a good outlook in life. As the time goes by, my gratitude to work, and being an employee kinda trickled down. I want to make my own dent in the world even for a bit. Also I hate commute to and from work. I spen like an hour per commute. Yes I get to walk a lot, but I do not like taking the jeep everytime. I think I could have spent in better here at my computer, scrolling reels, man. Commuting is taxing to me for some reason, and I dont even do anything while im on it.
Future steps. These are what would I like to do in my unemployement arc. To be honest I don’t think I have a pretty long time being unemployed aside from the pandemic era.
I would like to master a lot of skills. I am currently reading Ultralearning by Scott Young. I know that I think that I am going to my old skill to learn ear, and hopefully I stick with it. Here are the skills i would like to learn and be good at:
Main Things
- Programming
- 3d Modelling, sculpting
- Web Development
- Live Streaming, and being an online entertainer
- Blog Posting
Side Things
- Automobile maintenance
- Electrical and Electronics maintenance
- Chicken and Rooster caretaking
- Reading books I have purchased, and being knowledgeable with the real world
- Learn to fight / Workout
Hopefully I can master some of this in span of 4 months. After that, I would like to go back to work, so i can save more and probably use it for business and spending it to my loved ones.
I hope as well to get good at programming that I can fix this website and get a job related to it, hopefully work from home as well. I would like to make a lot of project as it seems that I can make my learning faster when creating a project. Hopefully I can make a lot within 4 months, so please expect a lot of creative art of mine, and not just the simple gaming streams. I hope that I will be on top of my priorities this unemployment arc of mine.
As for the other things I want to learn. I have AI prompted a lot of ways to make it easy for me.It seems that 4 months is not enought for me to be the best at programming, but I can use it to be knowledgeable enough to learn a lot.
I just hope as well that the disappointment, lethargy, monotonouos, and life sucking work that I had would fuel up my passion and discipline so that I would not work on a job that would kill me.
BUT WAIT!!!
Some thing just came up. Just a day after my resignation has been done, my sibling just gave me a news regarding about a possibility that I may need to work my butt again, right away. My mother seems to be going to another place for business purposes, it seems that she needs someone to look after her store while she is away, or maybe, she needs someone to handle the store completely, basically giving it to another person. Both of my siblings are busy about their lives, and other relatives near the store are busy as well. What a timing this is. I may have to sacrifice the remaining months of this year to learn to run a store, instead of taking my own time to learn the things I want to do. I do want to take some time off, but my sibling is pushing me to take the responsibility to operate the store.
HAHAHHAHAHAHA I at the moment, I said I would be taking over the store, but to be honest, I would like to learn the process, and I am also afraid that it would take a lot of time in my life as this will be a one man show. I will be handling the deliveries, restocking, tending to sales. This would be a good start to learn something new, I know. I just hope that I can control my time and give some space to my personal hobbies/learning. I do be spending a lot of my money now due to new games, and PC parts. I would also like to provide to my love ones as the unrealized gains in this store might be better than working on my self at the moment.
Whatever my final decision is, I will let you know! See ya!
